The 2020 edition of the Italian conference on cybersecurity (ITASEC20) provides a Forum for PhD students working in all areas of cybersecurity.
The PhD Forum offers an excellent opportunity for PhD students to share and discuss their scientific thoughts, research plans and preliminary findings and obtain feedback from the cybersecurity research and professional community, including academia, industry, research institutions and government. The PhD Forum also provides a great chance for young researchers to increase their scientific network.
PhD students at all stages of their research are encouraged to submit an overview of their ongoing research in cybersecurity in the form of an extended abstract. Proposed contributions will be evaluated by the organizers of the PhD Forum with the help of experts in the specific fields of interest. Depending on the quality and number of submissions, accepted contributions will have the chance to be presented through an oral or poster presentation within the scientific program of ITASEC20.
Extended abstracts describing the PhD research activity must be written in English and contain a clear description of the problem of interest, the limits of the existing solutions, the proposed research strategy and its novelty, together with a discussion on the criteria to evaluate the outcome of the research. The extended abstract should not exceed 2 pages. PhD students are free to choose the style of the extended abstract.
