Call for Workshops

 

Workshop & Tutorial Day: 4 February 2020

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the ITASEC20 conference. The purpose of workshops is to provide a forum for exchanging opinions, presenting ideas, and discussing preliminary results in an interactive atmosphere.

Proposals should include:

    • the workshop name;
    • a short description (150 words) of the workshop, to be posted on the conference web site;
    • a brief list of topics, scope and audience of the workshop (if possible including information about previous editions);
    • information about the procedure for selecting papers and/or presentations;
    • the dissemination plan;
    • the expected number of participants;
    • the workshop format (oral/poster, timing, panels, etc.)

 

Responsibilities

The ITASEC20 organization will provide:

    • Proper visibility on the ITASEC20 website;
    • Management of registration for participants;
    • Meeting room, properly equipped with audiovisuals;
    • Coffee breaks and lunch arrangements;
    • Offer one-day registration to one invited speaker.

 

The main responsibility of organizing a workshop goes to its chairperson(s); they must:

    • Set up the workshop webpage;
    • Provide the workshop final proposal by December 2019;
    • Take care of call for papers, dissemination, and submission / review process.

 

Important Dates

    • 31 October 2019: Workshop proposals due
    • 4 November 2019: Workshop notification of acceptance
    • 4 February 2020: ITASEC20 Workshop & Tutorial Day
